What joy it brought me on Sunday singing this after such a rough week being among darkness. On Thursday, the foundry staff went to Tulsa for the Terror show and it was heart breaking. These kids had no hope, nothing to live for. Scott the lead singer of Terror said it best when he said look out for each other. This scene is my family. The scene is all I have and have ever had. The scene is what I relied on when needed help. Man this brought tears to my eyes and made me so broken. Here is a 34 year old man who has never known what it means to love Christ and have something far better than the scene to live for. I want so badly for this darkness to be exposed to light. "…and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret, but everything exposed by the light becomes visible for it is light that makes everything visible. This why it is said: 'Wake up O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.' Be very careful, then how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is."
